LAURENCE ROBERT MOORE

Laurence Robert Moore, of Hiram, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, February 15, 2025, at the age of 68, from complications of an ongoing health issue. He was born August 19, 1956, in Hiram, Ohio. 

He graduated from Crestwood High School in Mantua, Ohio, in 1974, where he enjoyed playing tuba and being a part of Crestwood’s marching band. Laurence grew up and lived on the family farm his whole life, where he helped with the crops and making maple syrup. He had his own lawn care business in the summer, and assisted others plow snow in the winter for the community. Laurence enjoyed working on cars, listening to music, and caring for his cat companions. 

Laurence will forever be missed by his younger siblings, Laureen (Jim) Copeland, LaVon (Debbie ) Moore, and Lowell (Candie) Moore, as well as 7 nieces and nephews. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Laura Moore. 

Please join the family for a memorial visitation Saturday, April 12, 2025, 10:00 a.m. – 11 a.m., at the Hiram Christian Church, 6868 Wakefield Rd, Hiram, OH 44234. A memorial service will begin at the church at 11:00 a.m., with Rev. Chris McCreight officiating. Laurence will then be taken to Fairview Cemetery in Hiram, where he will be lovingly laid to rest.
