LAWRENCE WILLIAM "BILL" BLAUVELT

Lawrence William “Bill” Blauvelt,83, of Garrettsville, passed away on February 10, 2017. He was born on May 21, 1933 in Cleveland, Ohio to Lawrence and Majorie (Moore) Blauvelt. Bill married the love of his life, Lillian “Ginny”, on October 5, 1952.
He was a 1951 graduate of James A. Garfield High School and a Korean Army Veteran. Bill was a member of the Garrettsville FOE Eagles 2705, Windham American Legion #674, Monroe, MI VFW #1138, Garrettsville Masonic Lodge #246 and the Al Koran Shriners of Cleveland.
Bill is survived by his wife, Ginny; daughter, Deb Kline (Toney Burton) of Cleveland; grandchildren, Bill (Deanna) Kline and Chris Kline; and great grandchildren, Sophia and Emma.
Honoring Bill’s wishes, cremation has taken place.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Bill’s name to Cleveland Jobs with Justice, 20525 Center Ridge Road #700, Cleveland, Ohio 44116.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Mallory-DeHaven-Carlson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 8382 Center St., Garrettsville, Ohio 44231.
