Lawrence “Larry” D. Cooper, 64, of Hiram, passed away surrounded by his loving family on December 10, 2016. He was born on May 2, 1952 to Jesse and Belva (Murray) Cooper in Cleveland, Ohio. Larry married the love of his life, Karen (Pacovsky), on August 30, 1997.
He cherished being a professional electrician at Enertech Electrical. Larry enjoyed steak houses, history, airplane history, aeronautical trade magazines and bonfires with the family. He loved to work and fix up his house but most of all he loved his family and grandchildren.
Larry is survived by his wife, Karen; children, Stacy (Josh) Palmer of Streetsboro, Carrie Szczesniak of Mantua, Jesse Cooper of Orville and Rick Szczesniak of Streetsboro; grandchildren, Jacob, Rayden, Dominic and Olivia; his mother, Belva of Florida; sisters, Julia “Teri” (Ken) Christie of Florida and Verna (Paul) Fussner of Willowick.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jesse.
Per Larry’s request, cremation has taken place.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Mallory-DeHaven-Carlson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 8382 Center St., Garrettsville, Ohio.
