Lawrence T. LeHoty, age 90, of North Royalton, Ohio, passed away May 7, 2016. He was born January 31, 1926 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late John and Margaret (nee Ogrodwitz) LeHoty.
Lawrence was a lifelong resident of North Royalton and a carpenter for the Cleveland School Board. He was a U.S. Army Veteran who served in WWII. He fought in the Battle of the Bulge and served under Generals Omar Bradley and George Patton. He was awarded the Purple Heart and Bronze Star. Lawrence was also an avid hunter.
He will be dearly missed by his loving children, Denise (Frank) Pavlovicz, Celeste LeHoty, Thomas LeHoty; dear grandchildren, Noelle, Ryan, Garrett; and dear brother, James.
Lawrence was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Delores (nee Kovarik); daughter, Michelle “Sheli” Kay; siblings, Gerald, Marguerite, Dolores, Lenore, and Paul.
Friends may join the family for visitation on Thursday, May 12, 2016 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 1642 Pearl Road, (1/2 mile south of Route 303) Brunswick, OH 44212.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, May 13, 2016 at 11:00 am at St. Colette Catholic Church, 330 W. 130th St., Brunswick, OH 44212. Interment will be at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Rittman, Ohio.
