Lawrence “Wayne” Poots, 74, passed away Tuesday, January 13, 2015. He was born on April 19, 1940 to Lawrence E. and Antoinette (nee Blabel) Poots.
Lawrence formerly worked for the Eaton Corporation.
He is survived by his son; Richard (Gayle) of Garrettsville; sisters, Bev (Ken) Gould of Rochester, NY, Joyce Crihfield of Kalamazoo, MI; brother, Doug (Shelly) of Mantua; 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
Lawrence was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Barbara and son, Timothy.
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, January 16, 2015 at 11 AM at Mantua Center Christian Church, 4118 State Route 82 Mantua, Ohio 44255.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Lawrence’s name to the Mantua Center Christian Church or the 4-C’s Food Cupboard in Mantua.
