Larry “Butch” Williams, 69, passed away peacefully on October 18, 2017. He was born in Warren, Ohio on May 8, 1948 to Lawrence and Anna Williams.
He was an ordained minister and sang with the gospel singers that traveled around with him in Ohio, Pennsylvania, West Virginia and other states around in the area doing tent revivals and music. Through the years he was affiliated with singing ensembles like the Vocalaire’s and the Lakeland Civic Chorus, and he had his own singing group called Love Inc. for a short time, visiting nursing homes and doing production numbers. He attended Living Waters Church of God in Euclid, Ohio and was the Sunday school superintendent. The companies he worked for were Filmlab in Cleveland, Ohio and then from AAA in Independence, where he retired from in 2012.
Larry is survived by longtime friend, Chuck Breen and many loving cousins, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, David Williams, Elizabeth Williams and Ruth Baldwin.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 22, 2017 from 5 – 9 PM at Mallory-DeHaven-Carlson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 8382 Center St., Garrettsville, Ohio 44231. Burial will be held at a later time.
He was loved by many family and friends and will be greatly missed!
