Lee “Roy” Louk age 95, resident of Wadsworth passed away June 2, 2011 at Hospice of Medina County at the Inn. He was born August 24, 1915 in Chillicothe, Ohio to Lee and Mary (nee Ash) Louk.
Roy, as he was known to many, was employed in maintenance at the Highland Schools and also at E.C. McCormick Farms as a herdsman. He enjoyed hunting deer, rabbit and fishing. Roy married Virginia (nee Lucas) after his wife Shirley passed away in 1977.
He leaves his loving family; daughters, Mary Ellen (husband Glenn) Griffin, Connie Jo (husband Danny) Winland, grandchildren; Kim, Todd, Michelle, Glenn Jr., Tami, Jalynn, Joyelle, great grandchildren; Megan, Chase, Sara, Heather, Scott, Andrew, Alissa, Sierra, Trey, Alexis and great-great grandchild, Kailyn, stepchildren; Carolyn (husband Jerry) Stahl, Harold Wires, Roger (wife Debbie) Wires, Rick (wife Tammy) Wires.
He was also preceded in death by his son Ronnie, grandson Jason, and his siblings; Daisy, Gladys, Elzie, Robert, William, Lucky, Lucille.
Friends may join the family for visitation on Monday, June 6, 2011 from 5 to 8 PM at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 3477 Medina Road (Corner of Route 18 & River Styx Road), Medina. Funeral Service on Tuesday, June 7, 2011 at 11 AM also at the funeral home. Pastor Jim Duty of Medina Church of Christ will officiate. Burial to follow at Eastlawn Memory Gardens, Brunswick.
