LEON RODGER COMBS JR

Leon Rodger Combs Jr., age 62, of Brunswick, passed away on Tuesday, May 31, 2022. He was born on March 3, 1960, in Cleveland to the late Leon and Coretta (nee Christian) Combs Sr.
He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to go hunting, fishing, camping, and sitting out by bonfires. Leon also enjoyed building and fixing things, along with painting and coming up with different ideas. He was a kind soul with a loving heart as his family and friends would say. His family, especially his grandchildren were his pride and joy. He was a dear friend to many.
Leon will be deeply missed by his loving children, Jason (Carly) Combs and Amy (John Zitkewicz) Combs; grandchildren, Jonathon, Dailyn, Alexa, Jaylee, Nola, Joshua, Jayden, and Dawson; siblings, Steve (Bee) Combs, Lora Dehmann, and Lisa (Wes) Goldblatt; and many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Leon, was preceded in death by his daughter, Kristen Angela Combs.
Please join the family for visitation on Saturday June 4, 2022, from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Carlson Funeral Homes and Cremation Services, 1642 Pearl Rd. (1/2 mile south of route 303), Brunswick, Ohio. Graveside service will be Monday, June 6, 2022, at Pineview Cemetery, 21557 Coal River Road, Orgas, WV, 25148, at 12:00 pm.
