Libby A. Lenc, 88 of Maple Heights passed away at the home of her son on Friday, January 29, 2010. She was born April 22, 1921 in Cleveland to Joseph and Agnes (nee Jelinek) Svejda and worked in the General Warehouse of Hyco Sign Company.
She was a member of the Geauga Czech Club and enjoyed bowling and polka dancing. She had a great love for her grandchildren and family picnics.
Mrs. Lenc is survived by her children Emil Lenc of Maple Heights and Donald R. (Dolores) Lenc of Medina; sister Agnes Kota of Chesterland; grandchildren Donald (Kristyn) and Daniel (Jodi); great-grandchildren Erin, Alex, Max, Kaylee, and Sadie; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband Emil S. Lenc; son James E. Lenc; parents; brothers Frank and Joe; and sister Berniece.
Friends may join the family for Memorial Visitation on Saturday, February 13, 2010 from 3:00 to 4:00 with Memorial Services at 4:00 P.M. at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 3477 Medina Road (Corner of Route 18 & River Styx Road), Medina. Inurnment will take place in All Saints Cemetery, Northfield.
Memorial Contributions may be made to Hospice of the Western Reserve, 300 East 185th Street, Cleveland, OH 44119.
