LILA MAE BARKER

Lila Mae Barker, 91, of Macedonia, passed away on November 24, 2015 surrounded by her family. She was born on September 3, 1924 to Howard and Maude (Simmons) Mace in Elkins, West Virginia. Lila married the love of her life, Glen, on May 3, 1952.

Lila was a former police dispatcher in Windham, Ohio for many years. She enjoyed cooking and cleaning but what she loved the most was being with her family.

Lila is survived by her son, Michael (Fang) Barker; daughters, Patricia (Michael) Evers and Susan (Darrel) Wickerham; grandchildren, Beth, Marissa, Andrew, Jared and Jake; great-grandchildren, Evan, Maggie, Tony, Clara, Lilly and Liam.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband; son Jerry; brothers, Earl, Delbert and Howard; sisters, Grace, Mary, Twila and Josephine.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 28, 2015 from 10 AM -12 PM at Mallory-DeHaven-Carlson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 8382 Center St., Garrettsville, Ohio 44231. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 28, 2015, 12 PM at the funeral home with Michael Evers officiating. Burial will follow at Windham Township Cemetery.
