LINDA M HARRIS

Linda M. Harris, age 71, of Brunswick, Ohio, passed away Saturday evening, July 22, 2023, at Southwest General Hospital in Middleburg Heights, Ohio, following a courageous battle with an extended illness. Linda was born in Parma, Ohio, on September 16th, 1951, to the late Frank and Mary T. (Nagielski) Wardega.

Linda retired after 52 years of dedicated service as a registered nurse at several healthcare facilities. An avid Cleveland Indians fan, Linda never missed a ballgame on television. Linda had a love of bowling, softball, and casinos. Linda was dedicated to her husband, children, and grandchildren.

Linda is survived by her loving husband of 26 years, James Harris of Brunswick, Ohio; daughter, Karen Sampson of Medina, Ohio, and son, Scott (Angel) Sampson of Brunswick, Ohio; four grandchildren, Josh (Summer) McLaughlin, Mark McLaughlin, Leah Kereki, and Briana Sonego; great-granddaughter, Emberlynn McLaughlin; four siblings, Francis J. (Patricia) Wardega, Robert W. (Patricia) Wardega, Donna M. (Peter) Schmidt, and Kathleen M. (Edward) Medrick and numerous nieces, nephews and friends also surviving.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 11 a.m. at St. Ambrose Catholic Church with Fr. Dan Samide as celebrant. Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. in Carlson Funeral Home Brunswick Chapel, 1642 Pearl Rd., Brunswick, Ohio 44212.
