Linda Kmiec(nee Kleis), age 72, of Medina, passed away on October 3, 2022. She was born on April 21, 1950, in Cleveland, Ohio to Frank and Elizabeth (nee Vataha) Kleis.
Linda loved to travel, go for walks, and spoil her family. She enjoyed decorating for the holidays and going out to eat. She danced to Elvis and loved eating chips while watching crime shows and Lifetime movies.
Linda had one of the kindest hearts and will be deeply missed by her children, Matt (Mindy) Kmiec, and Lisa (Steven) Umfleet, as well as her grandchildren Mitchell Gabler, Evelyn Umfleet, and Owen Umfleet.
She was preceded in death by James, her loving husband of 49 years; parents Frank and Elizabeth Kleis; brothers Jerome, Bob, Frank, and Harvey.
We appreciate all the love she received from Compassionate Care Hospice and Life Care of Medina.
A graveside service for Linda and her husband, James, will be held at 10:45 AM on Friday, October 21, 2022 at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery 10175 Rawiga Rd, in Seville, OH. Care for Linda has been entrusted to Carlson Funeral Homes and Cremation Services 3477 Medina Road, Medina, Ohio, 44256.
