Linda Mussey, age 73, passed away on Sunday, December 11, 2022, after battling ovarian cancer. Linda was also a beloved sister, devoted aunt, adored cousin, and dear friend.
As a retired teacher, Linda helped shape the lives of many young students in the Greater Cleveland area. Her love for her students led Linda to obtain her master’s degree in Guidance Counseling so that she could further help her students prepare for life after high school.
Linda grew up as a member of the Catholic Church and remained committed to her faith through the end. She was an active member of St. Ambrose Parish and served as a Eucharistic Minister. Linda lived her faith every day through her compassion and care for others.
Linda was an avid baker and seamstress. She brought the spirit of the holidays alive each year by greatly going overboard and spoiling her family and friends rotten. Linda loved spending time with her family whether that be playing games after family dinners, working on crafts with her grandchildren, or watching Netflix with her husband. She also enjoyed getting together with her friends especially to watch theatre productions, visit wineries, and go out to dinner. Linda will be remembered for her loyal, thoughtful nature and her delicious baked goodies. Beyond all, Linda will be remembered for being a kind and good person.
