Lois E. Davis, 84, of Garrettsville, passed away on Thursday, December 9, 2010 at her residence. She was born December 6, 1926 in Warren, Ohio to the late Louis and Anna (Gams) Justin.
Lois was a member of the Garrettsville Methodist Church since 1989 and the church secretary for 10 years. She was secretary at Garfield High School for 10 years and clerk of the Village of Garrettsville for 7 years. Lois was a member of the 20th. Century Club and was a Dixieland Jazz fan. She loved baseball, needlework and golf, but especially enjoyed her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a great cook.
Lois is survived by her husband, Richard, whom she married June 20, 1947; son, Jeffrey (Sarah) Davis of Ravenna; daughter, Karen Kline of Windham; sister, Theresa “Dolly” Thompson of Brunswick; six grandchildren: Kristin (Scott) Brahler, Michael (Denean) Davis, Jason Kline, Stefanie (Adam) Neikirk, Sandra (Aaron) Bales and Tracy (John) Brown; and twelve great-grandchildren: Joe, Ally, Kourtney, Abby, Nathan, Sebastian, Lucas, Jack, Ashley, Megan, Jake and Maya.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
