LOIS "MAMAW" OWENS

Lois “Mamaw” Owens Lois “Mamaw” Owens, 77, of Windham, passed away on Tuesday, December 7, 2010 at the Cleveland Clinic. She was born August 23, 1933 in Barbourville, KY to the late Grover and Fannie (Bedow) Warren.

Lois was an Avon representative and a member of the Windham Bible Church. In her spare time, she liked to watch “Days of Our Lives” and “Wheel of Fortune.” She was a Cleveland Browns fan. Lois most cherished spending time with her beloved family and friends.

She is survived by her daughters, Wanda Owens-Hankins of Cortland and Jessie Owens-Bloom of Windham; brother “Buck” Warren of KY ; sisters, Betty (Ray) Halcomb and Evaline Gowens all of KY; 7 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Herbert ; and son, Dennis. Calling hours are 2-5 PM on Saturday, Dec. 11, 2010 at Mallory-DeHaven-Carlson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 8382 Center St., Garrettsville, OH 44231. Funeral Services will be held at 2 PM on Sunday, Dec. 12, 2010 at the Windham Bible Church, 9550 Parkman Rd., Windham, OH 44288 with Pastor Frederick L. Youngen officiating.
