LUCILLE M. LIU

Lucille M. Liu, 83, of Ravenna, OH, formerly of Garrettsville, OH, passed away peacefully Monday, September 16, 2024. She was born April 21, 1942, in Peking, China, to the late Timothy C. and Bertha G. Liu.  

She immigrated to NY from China, and made her way to Windham, OH. Lucille was a dedicated machinist at Troy Machine for over 30 years before retiring. She was an ardent philatelist (stamp collector) of Chinese stamps. Lucille was a simple woman who appreciated the simple gifts of life.  

Lucille will be deeply missed by her many cousins, especially Gloria (Antonio) Kan and Grace (Paul) Yung, and her dear, dear friends, Bonnie Oettinger and Precious Oettinger.  

She was preceded in death by her parents.  

Per Lucille’s wishes, she is to be cremated. Services for Lucille are private and were entrusted to Mallory-DeHaven-Carlson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 8382 Center St., Garrettsville, OH 44231.
