LYNN MARIE FORGACH

Lynn Marie Forgach, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on June 18, 2024, at the age of 71. Born on July 13, 1952, in Maple Heights, Ohio, Lynn was the cherished daughter of Edward and Rosanne Jarus.

Lynn's academic journey was marked by excellence; she graduated from Nazareth Academy in 1970 and was an esteemed member of the National Honor Society. Her commitment to service was evident throughout her life. She organized and led a cancer support group for decades, providing comfort and guidance to countless individuals. Additionally, she dedicated her time to teaching Public School Religion at numerous parishes around the Cleveland area, nurturing the faith of many young minds.

A woman of deep spirituality, Lynn was an associate of the Sisters of Notre Dame in Chardon, Ohio. Her professional life as a travel agent fueled her passion for exploring the world. Alongside her husband of 52 years, Lawrence, they visited many countries across five continents, creating memories and experiencing the beauty of diverse cultures.

Lynn is preceded in death by her parents and her beloved son, Mark Forgach. She leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion, survived by her husband, Lawrence, her brother, Ed (Sherry), Sons, Brian (Erin) and Jeffrey, and daughter-in-law, Julie (Mark deceased). Lynn's greatest joy came from her role as a grandmother to her eight "angels from heaven": Emily, Molly, Heidi, Mara, Colin, Benjamin, Charlotte, and Kyle.

Lynn's life was a testament to kindness, faith, and adventure. She touched the lives of everyone she met, leaving behind a legacy of compassion and love. Her family and friends will always remember her bright smile, generous spirit, and unwavering faith.

Lynn can now rest in peace because "she has finished the race, and kept the faith."

Please join the family for a visitation to honor Lynn on Sunday, June 23, 2024 from 3:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services 3477 Medina Road (Corner of Rte 18 & River Styx Rd.) Medina, Ohio 44256. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, June 24, 2024 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church 606 E Washington St, Medina, OH 44256. PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH. Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery, Valley City.
