MALLORY M. NEAL

April 8, 1984 — August 10, 2023

Mallory (Napier) Michelle Neal, age 39, of North Royalton, OH, passed away on August 10, 2023, after a twenty-year battle with a brain tumor. She was born April 8, 1984 in Warren, OH.

She grew up in North Royalton, OH. As a kid, Mallory was outdoorsy, and loved to hunt, fish, and ride horses. She spent a lot of time as a young adult head banging at metal shows, especially her favorite band, Chimaira. Mallory was passionate about animals and found herself taking in many over the years; her “fur babies” included T-bone, Eleanor, Leonard, Rosie, Gunner, and Piper. Mallory had an affinity for skunks and attended Skunkfest each year with her own, Piper. She loved to learn and spent a lot of time watching documentaries about the ocean, space and everything in between. Mallory’s favorite movie series was Harry Potter and she would frequently have a marathon of all the movies. Halloween was Mallory’s favorite holiday, where she spent time creating a haunted house out of the garage and scaring the neighborhood kids.

Mallory celebrated fifteen years of marriage to her best friend, Jerry in February of 2023. The two of them shared a love for hot dogs, attending concerts, and exploring new places. While living in Amherst, the two ran the Jamaican Snowball ice cream truck together. Mallory and Jerry’s favorite place in the world was Maui and they cherished each trip they took together, until the passing of Jerry on April 4, 2023.

She is fondly remembered for her strong spirit, love, and ability to always make you laugh. Mallory was proudly eight years sober and enjoyed helping others through their sober journey. She also lent support to those going through their own brain tumor procedures. Mallory loved spending quality time with her family and sharing laughs together.

Mallory will be deeply missed by her parents, Steve and Robin Napier of North Royalton, OH; sister, Amanda Napier of North Royalton, OH; stepdaughters, Sydney (Robbee) Wallace and Aidan Neal; grandsons, Flint and Atlas Wallace; aunt and uncle, Lisa and Chris Dicus of Wooster, OH; aunt and uncle, John and Carrie Bentley of Cleveland, OH; cousins, Michael Egnor of Columbus, OH, Oscar and Anne Bentley; bonus kids, Riley Hughes, Eden (Caleb) Smith, and Michael Wyrick; friends, Ginger and Tom, Lanie, Marissa, Brittney, Cheyenne, Jackie, Amy, Cher, Kathy, Annette and Michael, as well as many dear friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Neal; fraternal grandparents, Kiah and June Napier; maternal grandparents, John and Shirley Bentley, and aunt, Nancy Bentley.

Per Mallory’s wishes, she is to be cremated.
