MARCIA M. BYICH

Marcia Marie (Seese) Byich, 81, of Windham, passed away peacefully into the arms of her Lord and Savior, on March 3, 2018. She was born on January 30, 1937 in Ehrenfeld, Pennsylvania to Cloyd and Elizabeth (McClain) Seese. Marcia married the love of her life, Samuel Byich, on May 9, 1959 at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel church in Ehrenfeld, Pa. Following her marriage, they moved to Windham, Ohio where they have resided since.

She was a 1954 graduate of South Fork-Croyle High School and retired from Hiram College in May 1997. Marcia was a member of St. Michael’s Church. She loved to play the slots. Marcia also loved sporting events especially those involving her grandchildren (the joys of her life.) She was an avid fan of the Windham Bombers, Penn State Nittany Lions and Pittsburgh Steelers.

Marcia is survived by her loving husband, Sam; children, Patti (Jim) Tutor and Tom (Brenda) Byich both of Windham; 3 grandchildren, Todd Williams of Columbus, Brandon Tutor and Kayte (Josh) Miller all of Windham and great grandchildren, Kase and Malawna Miller.

She was preceded in death by her father on July 23, 1965 and mother on September 16, 1980.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 6, 2018 from 5-7 PM at Mallory-DeHaven-Carlson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 8382 Center St., Garrettsville, Ohio. A Mass of Christian Burial to be held on Wednesday, March 7, 2018, 12 PM at St. Michael’s Catholic Church, 9736 East Center St., Windham, Ohio 44288 with Father James Lang officiating. PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH. Burial to follow at Windham Township Cemetery.
