Marcus (Mark) Westphal passed away unexpectedly on December 31, 2024. Mark was born on April 24, 1967, at Parma Hospital to Norman and Kathleen (Kay) Westphal. Mark spent the majority of his life living in Brunswick and graduated from Brunswick High School in 1986.
As a young child, Mark enjoyed cub scouts and playing BYS baseball and peewee football. He also played softball for his Dad’s team many years. Summertime was also spent camping and going on annual trips to Cedar Point with the family. Mark had an infectious smile when you talked to him and because of that, many family and friends called him Smiley!!
Mark moved from Brunswick to Wooster when his mother Kay passed away on October 8, 2013, and has been living there since. He especially enjoyed living with his beloved dog, Bella and taking long, country drives. Mark was always helping his Dad do projects around the house and would help anyone in need. Mark was preceded in death by his Mother Kay, Uncle Donald Feckley, Uncle Terry Feckley and grandparents, Marcus (from whom Mark is named for) and Colleta Huffman, and William and Hazel Feckley. Surviving are two siblings, Brother Craig (Miho), Sister Kelly Westphal, Daughters Jessica and Lea Westphal, and Son Joey (Lawrence), grandchild Anthony and many nieces and nephews and friends. Mark will be missed by all. And finally, to all those bikini clad women on Facebook, you lost a loyal follower.
