MARGARET "PEGGY" GALLACHER UNWIN

Margaret “Peggy” Gallacher Unwin (nee Martin), age 97, of Medina, passed away on Friday, November 10, 2017. She was born on May 1, 1920, in Twechar, Scotland, to William and Annie (nee Semple) Martin. She was married to Robert Unwin for 31 years.

She worked for Ostendorf-Morris as a cleaning supervisor for 27 years. She was formerly a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, and enjoyed reading novels and fiction, playing whist and rummy, bingo and casino slots.

Peggy will be dearly missed by her son, Albert (Judy); grandchildren, Rob Unwin, Shelley (Tom) Andrews, Christina Melillo, Scott (Rosalee) Unwin, Heather (Jason) Shea, Diana Melillo, and Ian Unwin; and five great-grandchildren,

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert; daughter, Margaret Melillo; and son, William (Mary).

Friends may join the family for Visitation on Monday, November 13, 2017, from 3 to 7 PM at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 3477 Medina Road (corner of Rt. 18 and River Styx Road), Medina, OH 44256. Family will receive guests at Carlson Funeral Home on Tuesday, November 14, 2017, from 10 AM until 10:45 AM Service. Burial to follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 6265 Columbia Road, North Olmsted, Ohio.
