Margaret J. Sheridan, age 86, of Brunswick, Ohio, passed away on March 19, 2015. She was born on April 11, 1928 in Greenville, Michigan to the late Karl and Marjie (nee Switzer) King.
Margaret graduated as the valedictorian of Greenville High School in 1946. She was the organist at Brunswick United Methodist Church for almost 30 years. She was a member of the NOMADS ministry for ten years and enjoyed volunteering for their projects. Margaret was also active with United Methodist Women’s mission work. Margaret and Ted loved to travel in their RV, traveling to all of the lower 48 states, with especially fond memories of their trip to Alaska in 1995. Margaret’s favorite pastimes included sewing, quilting, music, and cooking.
She will be dearly missed by her beloved husband of 63 years, Theodore; children, Paul (Linda), Mark (Ellen), Roger (Vicki), Kathryn (Joe) Wilson, Alan (Wendy); sisters, Dorothy (Harold) Springsteen, Carol (Benno) Rosin; brothers, Keith King, George (Joyce) King; thirteen grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by all whose lives she has touched.
Margaret was preceded in death by her brother, Harold King and grandson, Joshua Sheridan.
Friends may join the family for visitation on Monday, March 23, 2015 from 3 to 5 pm and 7 to 9 pm at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 1642 Pearl Road, (1/2 mile south of Route 303) Brunswick, OH 44212. A Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at 11 am with a visitation from 10 to 11 am at Brunswick United Methodist Church, 1395 Pearl Rd., Brunswick. PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH. Interment will follow at Eastlawn Memory Gardens in Brunswick.
