MARGARET ANN TAYLOR

Margaret Ann Taylor, age 82, resident of Elmcroft of Medina, passed away on Monday, September 9, 2013. She was born on November 21, 1930 to Virgil and Florence (nee Mayes) Alspach in Medina, Ohio.
Margaret dedicated her career as a Registered Nurse and was with Metro Hospital in ICU for 17 Years. She was a member of Medina United Methodist Church, where she volunteered, and also at the Hospice of Medina County and at Medina County Health Dept. where she was the first recipient of the Lifetime Volunteer award.
She will be dearly missed by her son, David M. (Beverly), daughters; Carol L (Charles) Lee and Janet M. (Michael) Roth and her beloved grandchildren; Melanie, Corinne, Brittany, Todd, Ryan, Rebecca, Jennifer, Megan, Robert and 6 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents and great-granddaughter Lilly.
Memorial Visitation for family and friends will be held Saturday, September 14, 2013 from 4 to 6 PM at Carlson Funeral Home 3477 Medina Road (corner of River Styx and Rt. 18), Medina, Ohio. Celebration of Life Service with Susan Hume Celebrant will begin at 5:30 PM.
A Special Thank You to Elmcroft Staff and Hospice of Medina County for the exceptional care and kindness towards Margaret and her family.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be directed to the Alzheimer’s Association Greater East Ohio Area Chapter 70 W. Streetsboro Suite 201 Hudson, Ohio 44236.
