MARIAN JEAN BECKMAN

Marian Jean Beckman, age 84 of Medina, passed away on November 4, 2024.

Marian was born on July 14, 1940, in Cincinnati, Ohio to Harry and Elizabeth (Hunkler) Motz. She graduated from Amelia High School and went on to work as an administrative assistant for many years. She enjoyed gardening and making gingerbread houses with her grandchildren. Marian was a member of the Senior Club, and the Medina Rec Center. She was an active member at Holy Martyr Catholic Church and participated in the Woman’s Guild. Marian belonged to St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church for the past six years.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Theodore Beckman, brothers, Harry and Donald Motz, and sister, Janet Ellard

Marian will be deeply missed by her children, Doug (Ann) Beckman, Ted (Elsa) Beckman, and Laura (Gary) Thielman, grandchildren, Kimberly St. Phillips, Allison Morgan, Andrew Beckman, Sean Beckman, Mariella Beckman, Alexander Thielman, and Ashley Thielman Skubon, great-grandchildren, Charlotte Morgan, Wesley Morgan, and Elliott St. Phillips, and brother, Raymond Motz.

Friends and family may come to call on Thursday, November 14, 2024, from 10-11 a.m. at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 606 E Washington St, Medina, OH 44256. Mass will follow at 11 a.m. Burial at St. Francis Xavier Cemetery.
