MARIAN JEAN MILLER

Marian Jean Miller, 95, passed away November 17, 2022 at Medina Meadows Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Medina, Ohio.
She was born March 2, 1927 in Adrian, Michigan and was the oldest of nine children. Marian and her husband, Robert, met and worked at Kroger's grocery in Michigan and later relocated to Lexington, Ohio for a work opportunity for Robert. Both being hard-working, over achievers they opened Miller Quality Meats in Mansfield, Ohio which they sold in 1998 and retired to Florida. Marian strongly encouraged her daughters and grandchildren to attend college and have professions of their own.
Marian leaves five daughters, Karen (Jeff) Claypool of Greensboro, North Carolina, JoAnn (Gary) Berkowitz of Medina, Ohio, Cheryl Clever of Valparaiso, Indiana, Deb (Nick) Robinson of Terre Haute, Indiana, and Brenda Kuck of Valparaiso, Indiana; grandchildren Kelly (Frank) Pugliese, Scott Claypool, Carie (Kevin) Daugherty, Sarah (Brian) Lang and Brandon(Carrie) Kuck; and great-grandchildren Jack, Katie, Keegan, Kiera, Henry, William, Alice, Braxton and Bryson and her brother, Curtis (Janice) Rendel, Adrian, Michigan.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Miller; parents Curtis and Velma (nee Grubbs) Rendel; siblings, DeWayne Rendel, Gladys Cole, Virgil Rendel, Ronald Rendel, Delores Fritz, Carl Lester Rendel, and Norma Sellers ; sons-in-law, Robert Clever and David Kuck; and grandchildren Adam Clever, Kevin Claypool and Kimberly Claypool.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Medina Meadows Skilled Nursing Center, Activities Department, 550 Miner Drive, Medina, Ohio 44256
Care for Marian was entrusted to Carlson Funeral Homes and Cremation Services, Medina, Ohio. A private service will follow at a later date.
