Marie D. Maslanka, 72 of Brunswick passed away Monday, October 26, 2020 peacefully at her home surrounded by her family.
She was Born August 30, 1948 in Cleveland, to Leo and Paulina (nee Priola) Bevelacqua.
Marie was a stage 4 colon cancer survivor of over 18 years. She loved spoiling her grandchildren, creating flower arrangements, gardening, playing candy crush, and spending time with her friends and family.
Loving mother of Pamela (Brian) Champion, Raymond (Kate) Gunderman; Step-sons, Jeffrey Maslanka, Jamie (Lori) Maslanka, and Jon (Anna) Maslanka. Proud and loving grandmother of 15 and counting. Beloved Sister to Kathleen Bevelacqua, Salvatore (Hazel) Bevelacqua, Lenny (Ellen) Bevelacqua, and Rocco Bevelacqua. Beloved Aunt and Friend to many.
She was Preceded in death by her husband John Maslanka; her parents Leo and Paulina; and brother Rocco.
The family will receive friends for visitation for Marie on Sunday, November 1, 2020 from 2-5 p.m. at the Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 1642 Pearl Road, Brunswick (Corner of Rt. 303 and Pearl Road). Visitation will also be held on Monday, November 2, 2020 from 9:30 until time of Funeral Mass 10:30 a.m. at St. Ambrose Catholic Parish, 929 Pearl Road, Brunswick. (Everyone Please Meet at Church). Burial will follow at Eastlawn Memory Gardens, Brunswick.
