Marilyn M. O’Brien, 74, of Wadsworth, passed away October 2, 2017. She was born January 1, 1943 in Cleveland to Joseph and Jean (nee Kapela) Makowski.
Marilyn was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She also enjoyed cooking and baking.
Marilyn will be greatly missed by her beloved husband, Michael; dear children, Colleen O’Brien, Jennifer O’Brien, Bridget (Chris) Costic; and cherished grandchildren, Ashley, Tyler, and Jillian.
She is preceded in death by her parents; and her brother, Father Douglas T. Makowski.
Friends may join the family for visitation Thursday, October 5, 2017 from 5 to 8 pm at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 3477 Medina Rd. (corner of River Styx & Rt. 18), Medina, Ohio 44256. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, October 6, 2017 at 11:00 am at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 6750 State Rd, Parma, OH 44134. Please meet at church.
