MARION CIBIK

June 4, 1918 — January 8, 2017

Marion Cibik, 98, of Brunswick, passed away Sunday, January 8, 2017 surrounded by family in Strongsville. She was born June 4, 1918 in Newton, Massachusetts to Winfred and Carrie Clark.

She worked as a secretary bookkeeper for many years while also helping her husband in businesses. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church where she loved the choirs and listening to gospel music. Her hobbies included flowers and gardening, sewing, knitting, ceramics and all crafts.

She is survived by her children, Deborah White of Cleveland Hts., Doreen (Steve) Bogar of Anaheim, California, Douglas (Linda) Dodge of Grafton, Donald (Shelley) Dodge of Strongsville, Denise (Greg) Crossen of Medina; 9 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; and 2 great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by husbands, Walter Dodge in 1968, Thomas Cibik; granddaughter Shawna (Randy) Jackson; parents, Winfred and Carrie Clark; and one brother, Robert.

Friends may join the family for visitation Wednesday, January 11, 2017 from 4 to 6 pm at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 1642 Pearl Road, (1/2 mile south of Route 303) Brunswick, OH 44212. A Funeral Service will be held Thursday, January 12, 2017 at 12:00 pm at Grace Baptist Church 3480 Laurel Rd, Brunswick, OH 44212. There will be a visitation a half hour prior to Service. (PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH). Reverend Carson Hall will officiate. Interment will follow at Eastlawn Memorial Gardens in Brunswick.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Marion to Grace Baptist Church Building Fund, 3480 Laurel Rd, Brunswick, OH 44212.
