Marion “Bubba” Quickle, 81, of Windham, passed away Sunday, January 31, 2016, surrounded by his loving family. He was born September 15, 1934, in Sutton, West Virginia, to Joseph and Nora (Evans) Quickle. Marion married the love of his life, Marie (Mullenax) on May 21, 1955.
He liked working on lawn mowers, fishing and hunting. Marion enjoyed storytelling, being a prankster, socializing at the Renaissance Family Center and spending time with his beloved family.
Marion is survived by his wife, Marie of 60 years; children, Judith (Rocky) Burket of Windham, Joseph Quickle of Braceville, Linda (Mickey) Hundzsa of Paris and Ralph Quickle of Erie; 9 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his siblings, Virgie Williams, Sammy Quickle, Graden Quickle, Vada Spaur, Barbara “Bobbie” Jenkins and Irene Jenkins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 6, 2016 from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM at Mallory-Dehaven-Carlson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 8382 Center St., Garrettsville, Ohio. Services will be held on Saturday, February 6, 2016, 1:00 PM at the funeral home with Rev. Richard Hose officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Marion’s name, to the Renaissance Family Center, 9005 Wil Verne Dr., Windham, Ohio 44288.
