Marjorie Jean Williams, 82, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Wednesday, December 14, 2016 in Medina, Ohio where she had been a resident since 1971. She was born on April 2, 1934 in Terra Alta, West Virginia to the late Kenneth and Rosa (Waybright) Mackley.
Although Marjorie did hold various employments throughout her life, she would maintain that her most important and successful job was that of Homemaker which began when she married her husband, Boris R. Williams, on May 17, 1952. Raising four boys, she never seemed to tire around the house; and she was never short on love. Eventually the title of “Mother” became “Grandmother” and then “Great-Grandmother,” something which she took great pride in. As the years of hard work took their toll on her body, the ever stalwart Marjorie never complained and was fiercely independent till the last. She loved many things in life, including travel and literature; but her greatest passion would always be her family, of which she was the cornerstone.
She will be dearly missed by her beloved husband of 64 years, Boris and her four sons, Jeffery and wife Victoria of Westfield, OH, Gregory and wife Dawn of West Salem, OH, Boris II and wife Member of Wadsworth, OH, Theodore of Columbus, OH, her sister Doris Crothers of Delaware, OH, as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and many other family members and loved ones. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Kenneth.
