MARJORIE JEAN WINLAND

Marjorie Jean Winland, age 88 of Wadsworth, passed away on Thursday, May 12, 2016 at the Medina General Hospital-Cleveland Clinic. She was born in Punxsutawney, PA on May 28, 1927 to Nels Albert and Twila (nee Filler) Nelson.

Marjorie was a loving homemaker; she enjoyed her family and spending her relaxing time making jewelry, painting and bird watching. Marjorie and Robert Wade Winland were married 61 years, he preceded her in death.

She will be dearly missed by her daughters, Linda Jean McGeehan, Sandra Lee (Franklin) Winland-Anderson, Sherri Lynn (Ronald) Gager; grandchildren, Courtney Lyn McGeehan, Erin Lyn Morrissey, Melissa K. (Anthony) Walker, Robert Paul (Sondra) Jeffries, Amy Lynn and Nathaniel J. Gager; her great-grandchildren, Morgan Ann Barnes, Allison Mackenzie Morrissey, Spencer Lee Walker, Sierra Marie Walker, Amber Lee Henning, Kirsten Lyn Jeffries and Sebastian Bradley Gager. Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents, husband and sister Virginia Repp also her brother Earl Nelson.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 15, 2016 from 4 to 8 PM at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 3477 Medina Road (corner of River Styx & Rt. 18), Medina, Ohio 44256. Funeral Service also at the funeral home on Monday, May 16, 2016 at 11 AM. Burial to follow in Sharon Twp. Cemetery.
