"Together Again"
Mary B. Booth, 59, of Garrettsville, went home to her Lord and Savior on Friday, March 17, 2023, with her loving family by her side after a courageous 6-year battle with stage 4 Lung Cancer. She was born in Ravenna, OH, on January 24, 1964, to the late Ralph and Mary Lee (nee Hickman) Lewis.
She worked for Mantaline Corporation for 30 years and enjoyed her job as a Quality Lab Technician. She enjoyed the quiet country life as a long-time resident of Nelson Township. Mary loved being outside in the summers, having bonfires, barbeques, and enjoying family. She enjoyed fishing with her late husband, Robert Booth, on their boat, and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Mary will be deeply missed by her children, Beth Moore, Jack (Alyssa) Miller, and Cindy (David) Kirkland; grandchildren, Andrew Kirkland, Aubrey Kirkland, Anthony Moore, Abigail Miller, Jane Miller, and Henry Miller; siblings Ralph Lewis, Jerry Lewis, Joe Lewis, Christine (Larry) Brown, and Brian (Michelle) Lewis, and many nephews, nieces, and dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Robert Booth, and sister, Regina Placek.
Please join the family for a memorial visitation on Saturday, March 25, 2023, from 3:00 P.M. - 5:00 P.M. at Mallory-DeHaven-Carlson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 8382 Center St., Garrettsville, OH 44231. A memorial service will begin at the funeral home at 5:00 P.M., with Pastor David Ballert officiating. Mary and her beloved husband, Bob, will then be laid to rest on Tuesday, March 28, 2023, in Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. We will meet at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 3477 Medina Rd., (Corner of River Styx Rd. & Rt. 18) NO LATER THAN 10:30 A.M. to process to Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery for a graveside service with full military honors for Bob.
