MARY C. EASTERLING GOTHAM

Mary C. Easterling Gotham, 74, of Girard, OH, passed away Friday, August 30, 2024, with her daughter by her side. Mary was born on September 6, 1949. in Decota, WV, to the late Reverend Donald and Rena Carol (nee Stanley) Easterling. 

Mary loved to sing, especially with the Praise Team, and had the most beautiful voice. She also played the piano, enjoyed studying the bible, and was a devout Sunday School teacher. So many have benefited from Mary’s faith, joy, and passion. In her later years, Mary loved to travel, and she, her daughter and granddaughter enjoyed many travel adventures together. 

Mary will be deeply missed by her daughter Ondrea Counts, her granddaughter Autumn Currence, and her brothers Donald (Trish) Easterling and Alvin (Clara) Easterling, plus nieces, nephews, and many friends. 

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Neil H. Gotham, who passed in 1993. 

Please join the family in honoring Mary on Wednesday, September 4, 2024, at Shiloh Full Gospel Church, 1310 Shannon Rd, Girard, OH 44420. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., followed by funeral services at 12:00 p.m. Mary will be lovingly laid to rest at Harrington Cemetery, joining her husband once again.
