MARY EVELYN HUFF

Mary Evelyn Huff (DeRing), age 94, passed away Friday, September 15, 2023, at home surrounded by her loving family.

Beloved wife of Alfred, her husband of 74 years; devoted mother of Gloria (Tom Sensel), Christina (James Bolton), Frank (Gina Banevich), and Thomas (Cindy Bittinger). Doting grandmother of Thomas, Nathan, Amanda, Adam, Lee, Jonathan, and Joshua. Great-grandmother of Stephen, Thomas, Hannah, Mathew, Desi, Jeremy, Nick, Anthony, and Adeline.

A longtime resident of Brunswick, Ohio, Mary was born in Brooklyn, NY before moving to Newcomerstown, Ohio as a child. Mary was an active member of the Holy Martyrs Catholic Church.

Please join the family for visitation on Tuesday, September 19, 2023, from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. at Holy Martyrs Catholic Church, 3100 Weymouth Rd, Medina, followed by Mass. Interment at Eastlawn Memory Gardens, 2869 Grafton Rd, Brunswick. The Huff family has entrusted Mary's care to Carlson Funeral Homes and Cremation Services, Brunswick.

Following graveside services, the family will receive friends at Brunswick Family Restaurant located in Laurel Square Shopping Center.

Having breakfast with her growing family and friends every Sunday morning was a special joy for her. The staff at Brunswick Family Restaurant became part of her family.
