MARY E. KRISTOFF

Mary E. Kristoff, 85, of Freedom Township, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, November 16, 2021. She was born in Schodack Landing, NY, on February 10, 1936, to the late Leo and Ruth (nee Kie) Chainey.

She was a loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed gardening and collecting dolls. Mary was a proud Hungarian, who enjoyed working her Szalonna stand at the Hungarian Festival and made a wonderful Chicken Paprikash.

Mary will be deeply missed by her sons, Kenneth Kristoff and Rick Kristoff; grandsons, John (Alisha) Kristoff, III, and Andrew (Stephanie) Kristoff; great-grandchildren, Chloe, Katie, Kayla, John, A.J., and Alexis; siblings, Leo (Vicky) Chainey and Barbara (Robert) Green, and many nephews, nieces, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John Kristoff, and sons, John Kristoff, II, and Thomas Kristoff.

The family would like to invite friends to honor Mary for a visitation on Sunday, November 21, 2021, from 2:00 P.M. - 4:00 P.M. at Mallory-DeHaven-Carlson Funeral Home, 8382 Center St., Garrettsville, OH, 44231. A funeral service will be at the funeral home on Monday, November 22, 2021, at 10:00 A.M. Burial will immediately follow at Drakesburg Cemetery, Nichols Rd., Freedom Twp. Services for Mary were entrusted to Mallory-DeHaven-Carlson Funeral Home & Cremation Services.
