MARY E. MCPHERSON

Mary E. McPherson, 66, of Windham, OH, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 15, 2022, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born July 12, 1956, in Connellsville, PA, to the late Michael J. & Rose (nee Tucholski) Swink.
She graduated from Connellsville Area High School in 1974. Mary worked recently at Marriott Hotels in Streetsboro, OH, where she made many friends. She was an amazing baker and cook, and the holiday meals she prepared were the best. Mary loved doing crafts, watching movies, and spending time with her family, especially during the holidays. Everyone who knew Mary will cherish her laughter, smile, sass, spunk, and her love; she would light up the room when she entered, and she loved to joke around. Mary was a total YINZer, and she loved her Pittsburgh Steelers, as well as the Pirates and Penguins. She would definitely let you know her dislike for Tom Brady and the Cleveland Browns!
Mary will be deeply missed by her loving husband, Lloyd B. McPherson; her two sons that she loved dearly, Brandon L. McPherson and Christopher J. "C.J" McPherson, both of Windham, OH; step-children, Charity (Mike) Showalter, of Windham, OH, Brennelle O'Donnell of Leetonia, OH, and Denise (Bob) Konnerth, of Tampa, FL; 7 step-grandchildren; 7 step-great grandchildren; siblings, John Swink, Sr., of Ravenna, OH, Michael J. (Jaynie) Swink, Jr., of Connellsville, PA, Rose (Raleigh) Hall, of Birdsboro, PA, and Linda (Terry) Lamb, of Mount Pleasant, PA; many nephews and nieces that she adored, as well as many good friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Frank K. Swink, James P. Tucholski, and Florence E. Gagean.
The family would like to invite friends to remember Mary's kindness and love and share stories during a Celebration of Life on Saturday, November 12, 2022, at the Church of the Nazarene, 9749 E Center St, Windham, OH 44288, from the hours of 1:00 P.M. - 3:00 P.M. Services for Mary were entrusted to Mallory-DeHaven-Carlson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 8382 Center St., Garrettsville, OH 44231.
