MARY S. TISCHKE

Mary S. Tischke (nee Sosko), age 74, of Medina, passed away July 31, 2019. She was born June 28, 1945, in Greensburg, PA, to the late John and Mary(nee Soflak) Sosko.

Mary was a wonderful homemaker who loved to entertain and cook for her family and friends. She also enjoyed traveling on vacations. Most of all she loved spending time with her loving grandchildren.

She will be dearly missed by her children; James (Gail) Tischke, Janiene (Timothy) Gresla, Jennifer (Curtis) Wetzel; siblings, Loretta (Bob-d.) Culver, Joann (Art) Kiliany, Joseph (Judy) Sosko, Gene Sosko, Thomas Sosko, Margaret (Vaughn) Stout, Geneieve (Sam) Snively, Timothy Sosko, Terry Sosko, John Sosko ; grandchildren, Peter, Mitchell, Roslyn, John, Nicholas, Kristen, Lauren, and Katie.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, James Frederick Tischke.

Friends may join the family for a Celebration of Mary’s Life on Saturday, August 10, 2019, from 1:00PM to 3:00PM at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 3477 Medina Road, Medina, OH 44256. A Memorial Service will follow at 3:00PM. Inurnment will follow at Spring Grove Cemetery in Medina, OH.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mary’s name to HMS Hospice of Medina County Western Reserve, 5075 Windfall Road, Medina, OH 44256.
