MARY LOU YUGULIS

August 5, 1924 — July 3, 2010

Mary Lou (nee Knox) Yugulis, 85 of Medina passed away at her home on Saturday, July 3, 2010 surrounded by her family. She was born August 5, 1924 in Taylor, Texas to Raymond Guy and Wilella (nee Blum) Knox, was a parishioner of St. Francis Xavier Church, and was a loving and caring homemaker who was dedicated to her children.

She was a member of Hinckley Seniors and previously taught PSR at St. Colette. She enjoyed flower gardening, ceramics, crocheting, and spending time with her pets.

Mrs. Yugulis is survived by her children Deborah (Anthony) Aloia of Berea, David (Saundra) Yugulis of Medina, Daniel Yugulis of Medina, Dennis (Barbara) Yugulis of Creston, and Donna (William) Mooradian of North Royalton; brother Dan (Violet) Knox of Taylor, Texas; grandchildren Lisa (Cyrus) Dillinger of Findlay, Heather (Steve) Lowry of Brunswick, Michael Miller of New Orleans, Christopher Yugulis of Medina, Corey Yugulis of Wadsworth, Kevin Yugulis of Medina, Jeremiah Yugulis of Brunswick, Phillip (Alisia) Maschke of Delaware, David (April) Maschke of Rittman, and Julie (Michael) Barnes of Newport News, Virginia; great-grandchildren Devin and Hunter Dillinger, Alexis Lowry, Christian, Kyleah, and Landon Miller, Edward and Mikayla Yugulis, Jacob, Olivia, Rebecca, Kaleb, and Sophia Maschke, and Steven and Aaron Barnes; and her many household pets.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, whom she met while working at Kelley Air Force Base in Texas, Edward J. Yugulis; her parents; brother and sister-in-law Wallace (Peggy) Knox; and sister Ruby Nell Hoffman.

Friends may join the family for visitation on Monday, July 5, 2010 from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M. at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 3477 Medina Road (Corner of Route 18 & River Styx Road), Medina. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, July 6, 2010 at 12:00 P.M. at St. Francis Xavier Church, 606 E. Washington Street, Medina. Interment will follow in Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Rittman.
