Melissa Kay Richards, age 28 of Medina, passed away suddenly on Friday, July 1, 2016.
She was born on August 20, 1987 to David and Mary (nee Braeunig) Richards.
Melissa graduated from Medina High School. She was formerly employed at The Polished Look as a Receptionist. Melissa was a fun loving person, she enjoyed making people happy; she also enjoyed art, fishing, fixing things, cleaning and organizing and her love of animals, especially cats.
Melissa will be dearly missed by her parents; her son Jayson Hadam; siblings, Laura, Kristin (Elliot) McMillan, Jennifer (Adam) Philpott also her many extended family members; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.She was preceded in death by her brother Jason; grandparents, Leo (Marjorie) Braeunig and Joseph (Pauline) Richards and her cat Oliver.
Visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday, July 7, 2016 from 6 to 8 PM at
Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 3477 Medina Road (corner of River Styx & Rt. 18), Medina, Ohio 44256. Additional Visitation on Friday prior to Service from 10 to 11 AM at the church. Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM on Friday, July 8, 2016 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 4411Windfall Road, Medina, Ohio 44256. Burial to follow in Spring Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations would be greatly appreciated to her family for her son Jayson.
