Photo: Obituary: Michael E. Behary, 78, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 2, 2012 at Hospice of Medina County. He was born on August 23, 1933 in Brownsville, Pennsylvania to Michael and Lucy (Williams) Behary. Mike was a medic in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict and retired as President of Cleveland Machine Controls. He was a member of St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church in Valley City. Mike loved his family, fishing, golf, baseball, and hunting. Michael was preceded in death by his parents. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife Eileen (White) of Valley City, whom he married on September 15, 1956; daughter Renee (Dennis) Zoppe of Wilmington, North Carolina; son Michael L. (Denise) Behary of West Salem; grandson Michael A. (Heather) Behary of Medina; great-grandson Michael Joseph (M.J.) Behary of Medina; six step-grandchildren. Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church, 1800 Station Road, Valley City, Ohio on July 6, 2012 at 11:00 AM. Visitation will be held at the church one hour prior to Mass. Interment at St. Martin Cemetery. The family suggests that memorials be made in Michael’s name to the northeastern Ohio chapter of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, 6100 Rock side Woods Blvd., Ste 445, Independence, Ohio 44131.
