MICHAEL H. HOSTETLER

Michael H. Hostetler, 69, of Leavittsburg, OH, went home to his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, December 20, 2023. He was born February 26, 1954, in Welshfield, OH, to the late Henry and Helen (Komaranski) Hostetler.

He was a proud retiree of the U.S. Army. Mike was a great husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather he was a friend to all and he created a space for his kids and grandkids to experience life with a childlike curiosity and excitement. He loved spending time with his family, watching the Cleveland Browns, playing the lottery, and fixing things via YouTube.

Mike will be deeply missed by his loving wife, Andrea (Dankovich) Hostetler, who was blessed to share 46 years of marriage; 5 children, Michael (Leona) Wallace, Terry (Elizabeth) Wallace, Michelle Hostetler, Jessica (Tim Regan) Hostetler, and Kyle (Jacqui) Hostetler; 19 grandchildren, Robert, Michael, Brandon, Chyenne, Harmony, Easton, Cody, Kylee, Alyssa, Christian, Nicholas, Makayla, Taylor, Devon, Emma, Kyson, Eva, and Lila; 4 great grandchildren, Serenity, Kara, Everly, and Lucas; siblings, Gail and Alice, and many nephews, nieces, and dear friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; grandson, Tenor Wallace, and sister, Nora Witherow.

Please join the family for a memorial visitation on Friday, December 29, 2023, 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m., at Mallory-DeHaven-Carlson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 8382 Center St., Garrettsville, OH 44231. Military Honors will be rendered at the funeral home at 11:00 a.m., and will be followed by a memorial service, with Mike's son, Terry, officiating.
