MICHELLE COX

Michelle Maulorico Cox, 63, passed away, unexpectedly, at her home on the evening of January 10, 2025. Michelle was born to her mother Betty Ann and father Bennie Maulorico (both deceased) on June 24, 1961. Michelle was a graduate of Parma High School and Bowling Green State University. At Bowling Green, she earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Journalism and worked as an editor for construction and consulting companies. Once her son Craig was born, she made the best decision of her life to become a full time, stay at home mom. A job in which she excelled. Michelle loved to take photographs of friends and relatives but mostly of her son. Her passion was organizing photographs and assembling her photo albums. The albums tell our story for every month and every year and are precious memories that we will hold dear for the rest of our lives. Michelle strived to always keep in touch with friends and family including her freshman year college roommates. Michelle’s favorite destinations were the National Parks especially out west. Michelle enjoyed helping people in need and volunteered at many local community organizations. Michelle was a lovely person in both spirit and in heart.

Left to grieve her passing is her loving husband of 32 years, Craig Cox, her most beloved son, Craig Cox, Jr and his fiancé Andrea Anderson. She leaves her older brother Ben Maulorico and his wife Eileen and her younger brother Tom and his wife Johanna. Michelle leaves behind many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and neighbors whom she loved dearly. She also leaves two special friends Audrey and Brennan whom she had babysat for many fond years and her Westie, Lily.

We are certain that Michelle has entered into Heaven and has been greeted there by her loving mother, father, and cousin Dawn. Rest in peace dear Michelle.

Friends and family may come to call on Wednesday, January 15, 2025 from 4-7 p.m. at Carlson Funeral Home, 3477 Medina Road (Corner of Riverstyx and Route 18), Medina. Visitation also on Thursday, January 16, 2025, from 10:30-11:30 a.m. at Carlson Funeral Home, Medina. Service to follow at 11:30 a.m. Burial at Rose Hill Burial Park.
