Nancy Bishop, 83. Beloved wife, mother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend passed away on Tuesday, April 7, 2020 at her home at Western Reserve Masonic Community in Medina, Ohio.
Nancy was born on July 16, 1936 in Middlebury, Indiana to Mervin and Ruth Hostetler. She grew up in Smithville, Ohio and graduated from Smithville High School and Bluffton College. She graduated with an education degree.
She spent her adult life living in many different cities with her husband, Jim Bishop (deceased) and her daughter, Susan Gregor (deceased). She made many friends and loved playing bridge and painting beautiful works of art. She moved to Western Reserve Masonic Community where she resided until her death. Nancy loved her family and friends and was an inspiration to all who knew her.
She is survived by her sister, Joann Maxwell of Iola, KS; her sister-in-law, Dorothy Hostetler, Dublin, OH; and many nieces and nephews and her cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Mervin and Ruth Hostetler; her husband James Bishop; her daughter Susan Gregor; and her brother Richard Hostetler.
Nancy's care has been entrusted to Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 3477 Medina Rd., Medina, OH 44256. Services will be announced at a later date. Nancy's final resting place will be Plymouth First United Methodist Church Memorial Garden in Plymouth, MI.
