NANCY JANE GRUBB

Nancy Jane Grubb, 70, of Chippewa Lake, Ohio, residing in Medina, OH, passed away on November 25, 2022. She was born October 16, 1952, in Medina to Herbert Peer and Ethel Francis (nee Gleeson) Grubb.

Nancy "Grubby" was a member of the Medina County Gazette family for 27 years spanning 1982 - 2009. She held many roles at the paper and wrote a number of articles. Nancy loved nature, enjoyed listening to and feeding the birds. She loved going to the Zoo, especially with loved ones. She had adventures through her own experience and vicariously by watching others' enjoyment. Nancy danced for herself, sang the songs she loved, and shared music with many. Her touch has been felt and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Nancy is survived by her four children, Jodie (Tracy) Harbour, Sandy (Jimmy) Williams, Jaime (Jeremy) Kurp, and Tim (Jenn) Dull; older siblings Jeff Grubb and Barb (Jack) Whitlam, and her seven grandchildren, Evan (Tim), Justin (Jaime), Nate (Tim), Asher (Jaime), Kaiden (Tim), Morgan (Sandy), and Bailey (Sandy), as well as beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, and countless friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, mother, and eldest brother Chad Herbert Grubb.

Please join the family Wednesday, November 30, 2022 at Church at the Lake, 7824 Lake Rd, Chippewa Lake, OH 44215 for Remembrance from 4:00 pm to 5:30 pm and a brief family-led memorial service beginning at 5:30 pm. Arrangements for Nancy were entrusted to Carlson Funeral Homes and Cremation Services, 3477 Medina Rd, Medina, OH 44256. No grave-side services will be held, a memorial piece is expected to be placed in the circle with her father, mother and older brother at a later date.
