NANCY ANN PADGETT

Nancy Ann Padgett, 97, of Medina, Ohio, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, June 1, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Shamokin, Pennsylvania to the late Andrew and Mary (née Baginski) Chlebowski.

Nancy was young when her family moved to the Cleveland area, where she later met her beloved husband, Joseph L Jesek. She lived in Chesterland, OH, for over 60 years before relocating to Medina in 2019. 

She worked at JC Penney for many years. She enjoyed dancing (especially ballroom), gardening, golfing, traveling, spending time with family and friends, as well as her winters in South Carolina and Florida. 

Nancy will be deeply missed by her loving family, several nieces and nephews, and many dear friends. Auntie was an amazing person, and had a great sense of humor. She brought sunshine and joy wherever she went. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, beloved husbands, Joseph L. Jesek and David O. Padgett, her brother Andrew and sister-in-law Clara Chlebowski.

Nancy's family is grateful for the staff at The Echelon Assisted Living for providing their loving care and support.

Please join her family for the Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, June 10, 2024, at 10:00 am, at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 606 E. Washington St., Medina, OH 44256, with a visitation from 9:00 am until Mass. Nancy will then be taken to All Souls Catholic Cemetery in Chardon, OH, where she will be laid to rest.
