Naomi R. Lewis, 96, of Beaverton Oregon, formerly of Garrettsville Ohio, joined her Lord and Savior on Saturday December 15, 2018 with her loving family at her side. She was born in Garrettsville, Ohio on September 7, 1922 to Clarence and Anna (Pribyl) Parker.
She loved Ohio through and through and thought of it as home, even though during her lifetime, she had lived in North Carolina, Massachusetts and Oregon. She shared her ministry of music as the organist at the Windham Congregational Church, United Church of Christ. Naomi loved to travel and Bermuda was one of her favorite places to visit. Also, she earned her pilot license in 1963 and flew with her husband in their Cessna to numerous places, including North Carolina.
Naomi will be missed by her nieces Martha (Dan) Barstow; Ann Parker; Mary (Larry) Nutter; Barbara (Lloyd) Grover; nephew Timothy (Maureen) Parker; and numerous great and great-great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband John Laurence Lewis in 1970.
