Nesim Muharemovic, age 100, of Brunswick, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 28,
2023. He was born on January 6, 1923, in Kicevo, Yugoslavia.
Nesim was a man of many talents and his vast knowledge of history was like no other. He spoke 9 languages fluently and was able to understand a few more. He taught himself how to read, write and speak English when he came to America. Nesim took pride in becoming an American citizen and loved his country immensely. He was a tool and die maker for over 50 years. He delighted in sharing his life experiences. He enjoyed cooking, canning, working in his vegetable garden, and his love of music. He also enjoyed vacationing at the beach and camping with his wife and family. Nesim loved his family to the fullest and took every opportunity to spend time with them.
Nesim will be deeply missed by his loving children, Dieter (Hedy) Muharemovic, Sylvia (Dave) Dentz, and Nancy (Joe) Kmetz; grandchildren, Janis Schulay, Heather (Aaron) Haycook, Michael Kmetz, Mindy (Robert) Bailey, Eric Dentz, Nicole (Brian) Miles, Kevin Dentz, Bryan (Kristi) Kmetz, and Colin (Sarah) Kmetz; great-grandchildren, Lyndsey (Laura) Rayer, Carley Rayer, Hallie Haycook, Landon Haycook, Brooke Haycook, Addison (Nick) Twining, Jimmy Dziuba, Emma Kmetz, Cruz Bailey, Dominic Bailey, Jase Bailey, Mila Bailey, Evan Dentz, Cayden Dentz, Brayden Miles, Blake Miles and Eliza Kmetz.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and his loving wife of 68 years, Margot, and son, Dieter.

Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 1642 Pearl Rd. (½ mile south of route 303), Brunswick. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 1, 2023, at 12:00 pm in the funeral home. Burial
will be at Hope Memorial Gardens, 2447 Center Rd., Hinckley.
