NORBERT J. DAVIS

Norbert J. Davis, 79 of Brunswick, passed away on Friday, December 24, 2010 at Medina Hospital. He was born December 16, 1931 in Cleveland, Ohio and was the son of Norbert and Helen (nee Ratajczak) Davis.

Mr. Davis was a Veteran serving in the United States Navy aboard the submarine USS Bergall. Norbert was a member of Shrine Church of St. Stanislaus in Cleveland and St. Ambrose Church in Brunswick. He was the owner of Brunswick Hills Town & Country Market for 15 yrs. Norbert was married to Dorothy J. (nee Bialkowski) for 33 years.

He is survived by his daughter, Judy Davis, sons; Matthew and Mark (wife Jacinda) Davis, grandchildren; Catherine and Amanda, sisters; Janice Smotzer and Jean Londrico.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and son, Norbert and daughter, Pamela Whitt.

Friends may join the family for visitation on Wednesday, December 29, 2010 from 2 to 4 PM and 6 to 8 PM at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 1642 Pearl Road (1/2 mile South of Route 303), Brunswick and 1 hour prior 9 AM to the Mass of Christian Burial which will be held on Thursday, December 30, 2010 at 10 AM at St. Ambrose Parish, 929 Pearl Road, Brunswick. (Please meet at the Church). Interment will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, 14609 Brookpark Road, Cleveland.
