OPAL IRENE KIGGINS

Opal Irene Kiggins (nee Dennis), age 95, of Medina, passed away on July 12, 2018. She was born on August 1, 1922 in St. Mary's, WV to Pearl and Bertha (nee Pickens) Dennis.
Opal enjoyed cooking, reading, quilting, working crossword puzzles, and reading books which were her life-long companions. She will be remembered for her strong-willed independence, work-ethic, and being a little bit sassy, a little bit sweet, and a whole lot of stubborn.
She will be dearly missed by her friends and family including her most loyal friend, Kathy Knight of Litchfield, OH. She also leaves behind a daughter, Charlene McMahon, of Valley City, OH, and son, Ronald Webb, of Middlebourne, WV. Her legacy also includes 11 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbert Kiggins Sr., daughter, Wanda Combs, and son, Wilbert (Bill) Kiggins Jr.
Friends may join the family for visitation on Saturday, July 14, 2018 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 3477 Medina Road, Medina, OH 44256. A Memorial Service will follow at 1:00 PM. A private inurnment will take place at a later date at Myrtle Hill Cemetery in Valley City, OH.
