Oran Harsh, age 85, of Brunswick, passed away March 14, 2016. He was born September 22, 1930 in Red Oak, Maryland to Clayton and Lydia (nee Shahan) Harsh.
Oran retired as a supervisor from General Motors and he proudly served his country in the United States Navy. Oran had a passion for all things fishing and he was a member of The Greater Cleveland Walleye Club.
Oran will be dearly missed by his loving daughters Barbara Wunn, Dona (Mike) O’Keefe; sisters, Mary Jane Hanline, Cleota Walker, Shirley (Harold) Doolittle, Helen (Alan) Lipscomb; sister-in-law, Eloise Harsh; grandchildren Julie (Michael) Schmieder, Brian Wunn, Heather Wilson, Michael Wilson, Amanda Wilson, Kris (Thomas) Struna, Jamie (Arlton) Abordonado, Brian Keefe, Kelly (Jeremy) Sexton, Randi Keefe; and twelve great grandchildren.
Oran was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 62 years, Dolores; his parents; his brothers, Stanley and Melvin; sister-in-law, Jean; and brother-in-law Lorain.
A graveside service will be held Friday, March 18, 2016 at 2:30 pm at Eastlawn Memory Gardens, 2869 Grafton Rd., Brunswick, OH 44212. Chaplain Jamie Stewart to officiate. Arrangements have been entrusted to Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 1642 Pearl Rd., Brunswick, OH 44212.
